- Venturenix Lab Services
- The “Venturenix Lab Service” means the website located at http://www.venturenix.com/venturenix-lab/ and any software and applications that are associated with and under Venturenix Lab’s control.
- The Venturenix Lab Service provides classes, courses, workshops, and other education programs offered by Venturenix Lab (“Courses”).
- These Courses seek to help IT and digital talents translate their skills into more job opportunities. Together with our seasoned instructors, Venturenix Lab offers a comprehensive curriculum in relation to data science, web development, microservice, AWS solution to equip students with up-to-date technical skills. Our goal is to revamp the IT and Digital landscape by providing high-quality education and effectively matching graduates with Venturenix Lab with suitable employers.
- Price and Payment
- Venturenix Lab will use all reasonable endeavors to display the most up-to-date and accurate price of the courses on our site. You acknowledge and accept that the prices of the courses provided by Venturenix Lab are subject to change without prior notice.
- Venturenix Lab uses third party payment service to process online transactions. Upon applying for our course online, you agree and accept that your credit card information will be collected and processed by us and a payment service provider. You acknowledge and accept that you are solely and exclusively responsible for any losses incurred by you in making credit card transaction. In no event Venturenix Lab shall bear any such losses in whole or in part.
- Scholarship arrangement
- It is our commitment to reward students who graduate from our courses with academic distinction. Partnering with Venturenix Recruitment Firm (“Firm”), student who complete the course with distinction will be recommended to the clients of the Firm, including but not limited to multinational corporations and small to medium enterprises. (Placement)
- In the event a student graduates from the course of Venturenix Lab with distinction, Venturenix Lab will recommend him/her to one of the suitable clients of the Firm during a placement period (“Period”) to be tailored for each course, of which 1 year is the standard placement period for Venturenix Lab unless otherwise stated in the webpage for the course.
- The amount of the scholarship will be capped at HKD 10,000, or 100% of the course fees, whichever is lower, for each placement unless otherwise stated on the webpage of the course.
- For the avoidance of doubt, student will only be entitled for scholarship if the Placement is an official mandate, or recruitment assignment (i.e. Job order) from a client.
- To maximize our students’ opportunity to land on a placement, we will connect our students to Corporates even we do not have existing mandates from them. In the case where we connect our students to our employers on a “No (Recruitment) fees” basis, we will let our students know in advance and in this case, the referrals will not constitute a Placement, and therefore will not be entitled for scholarship.
- Upon a successful match and when our students onboard with our clients, students agreed that they will serve the position for 1 year to qualify for the scholarship (i.e. successful placement).
- Venturenix Lab reserve the right, but are not obligated, to decide whether the student fits into our criterion of academic distinction, and whether to refund fees paid to us.
- Intellectual Property
- The intellectual property rights in all contents of Venturenix Lab are owned and controlled by us. Nothing in these terms shall confer on you any right or interest in the contents and all other rights are reserved to us.
- Unless you have obtained our express written consent and you are expressly authorized by law to do so, you shall not:
- use the contents for any commercial or any other non-personal purpose
- make any copies of the contents and transfer the contents to any other person or to any other device
- distribute, reproduce, reformat, modify or display the content in any means.
- By agreeing to this clause, you acknowledge and agree that we may cease to supply any of the content to you at our discretion if you are in breach of any terms of this clause.
- Linked Websites
- Our services may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Venturenix Lab.
- Venturenix Lab has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Venturenix Lab shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
- Revision to Terms
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 45 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
- By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
- Disclaim of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
- Venturenix Lab does not represent or warrant that access to our site or any of its contents will be accurate, reliable, timely and complete of any information from a third-party service provider or the quality of third-party products or services obtained through the Venturenix Lab Service.
- We may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Venturenix Lab Service at any time, in our own discretion, without notice or liability.
- Venturenix Lab is not responsible for any disputes or disagreements between you and any third party you interact with when using Venturenix Lab Service. Users of Venturenix Lab Service assume all risks associated with dealing with third parties.
- Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Venturenix Lab, its affiliated companies, employees, and its third-party suppliers from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including legal expense), arising out of any breach of the warranties, representations and agreement herein.
- No Waiver
- The failure of Venturenix Lab to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these terms will only be effective upon writing and sign by Venturenix Lab.
- Privacy Policy
- The information collected in the Enrolment Form is needed by Venturenix LAB to manage your registration and course participation.
- No personal information will be disclosed outside Venturenix LAB without your express consent, except where required by law.
- The information requested in the Enrolment Form maybe used by Venturenix LAB to satisfy regulatory reporting requirements and can be used in the future for careers and learning opportunities within Venturenix Group.
- In supplying the requested information, the participant is deemed to have consented to the use of information for those purposes.
- Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
